After 6 years of twice-monthly, community-based meetings at Pukekohe Methodist Church Hall, these scheduled meetings are now being replaced by informal get-togethers in association with an ongoing information service. Shakti Asian Womens Support Group
The Support Group has grown from the confines of one tiny room to a national umbrella organisation with several centres covering Central, West and South Auckland, North Island Central (Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Waikato) and South Island (based out of Christchurch). For people who experience mood polarities. A peer-led group providing the opportunity to meet with other people who understand because they share similar experiences. Group Therapy for Winter Depression & Anxiety
Run at Massey University's Centre for Psychology (Albany Campus), these groups run for six weeks, one evening a week, during winter-time. They are faciliatated by a Clinical Psychologist. Fees are charged, however, participants may be able to access therapy-vouchers through a ProCare GP or WINZ subsidies may be available.

A strength-based, recovery focused group where participants can enable, empower and reclaim life within an atmosphere of acceptance and unity. Evolve is a weekly peer support group that is facilitated by people who “walk the talk”. EVOLVE can be found at 306 Tristram Street, Hamilton every Tuesday 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
