Thanks for your welcome Amy I guess a bit of an intro is in order, hmmmm where to start? I suffered from acute insomnia for a couple of years getting only a few hrs and sometimes no sleep each night. I kept on asking for help from my Dr and kept getting lectures about sleeping pills and how addictive they are. Back in about Oct last year I crashed big time, I had gotten so worn down from lack of sleep that my moods got so low that I did not want to live anymore, I was not suicidal as did not feel I could do that to my family, but my will to want to live was about zilch. A tact team was called and there began my intro to the psych team. I am now taking quetiapine 50mg every night to make me sleep and loxalate 40mg every morning. I think it took months and months to see any improvement at all, in fact I got quite a lot worse for a few months, and in fact think that the psyc intervention was not really helpful but hey I am still here, still battling on and looking forward to being a part of this wee community here My photography has been a sanity saver for me.

I'm glad you're finding it better to cope and sleep Rosie! I will suffer from insomnia at the best of times. I was on quetiapine too but I didn't like it. I'm glad it's working for you though I would love to see some of your photography! Could you post some pictures? (you could also put one of your photos as your profile picture if you wanted!) How did you find Your Voice? - Just out of curiosity

Welcome Rosie. Glad your getting 'some' sleep now. I love taking photos too, but don't often get the chance. Mister bought me a camera, but always has other uses for it, so mostly I can't put my finger on it, and believe me, he's no photographer, mostly for achieve records for him.
I too look forward to admiring your work.
