I was a very good weight before the Earth Quakes, and had a very 'Savoury' tooth. Post EQs, both the Mr and I developed a very 'Sweet' tooth, consuming chocolate every night as the house rattled around us. While both the EQs and the chocolate eating have greatly subsided, there's some weight to reduce. And I'm almost ready to go. I absolutely know how to do it, just need to flick the switch and go for it.

Me too Louise! I've never been much of a sweet tooth and now I am. Must be from quitting smoking.
I recently brought a FitBit - you should look them up they are pretty cool. Of course I'm a procrastinator so I haven't used mine yet but I got to at some point!

woo hoo go you Lousise!! and Amy get that fitbiz thingee out of it's box and make it pay for itself - all said by one who has never been so heavy or inactive for many a year I somehow once I lost the will to live and suffered low moods for so so long gave up on any attempt to work on myself. I quit the gym and my home became my cave as often as possilbe. Its weird aye, you know what you need to do to make progress and yet the easier thing is to sit on the sofa gazing into space!! It is a shame that does not burn calories. I know have such a sweet tooth as well and have absolutely loaded on the weight, and I was very very over weight any way. I need a personal trainer to come live with me and make me do the right thing every day, yes an external motivator cuz mine is broke!!

Sometimes I think it would be really motivating to be on a TV show like the biggest loser or whatever it's called. Have you seen it on tele? The people on that show lose so much weight! It's really all about motivation - that's the key! Unfortunately I lost my motivation key somewhere and can't find it, haha

Yesterday was my 1st day gluten free and low sugar. I did some research about my allergies, so am giving it ago. Should be interesting, I'll try for a month, wish me luck.
The exercise parts of that show, just show that if pushed one will go further than if left to ones own decision.

No Rosie being retired so to speak, no day is any different from another. I have just completed day 4 with no problems, so am feeling pleased with myself. As to my allergies, I little early to tell, but there has been some improvement, but then there sometimes is for no apparent reason, though it never goes away. So hard to tell if its the lack of wheat and big sugars or not. But I will keep going. Sorry Amy just not motivated enough to walk at the moment, but I will think about it
